$80.00 Initial Classroom Course - The Hospitality Careers Training Center is proud to offer the TAP Series online training programs as an alternative to traditional classroom learning.  Online courses available for both initial certification and recertification.  Recertification is approved in Wisconsin and Minnesota. Students are able to complete the lessons at a pace that is comfortable for them.  Progress is monitored by one of our instructors certified by the National Restaurant Association.

$55.00 (Online Recertification) TAP online Food Safety Manager Re-certificationcourses are the only specifically developed online re-certificationcourses offered that are approved for use in all states wherenon-examination food safety manager re-certification is allowed:Illinois, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Rhode Island. Thesecourses require only about half the time to study as the full onlinecourse. Using these at home self-study courses eliminates any travel ortime away from the job. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive your certificate from the Hospitality Careers Training Center.theTAP Certificate of Achievement is offered for printout (Note: The Hospitality Careers Training Center certificate is not for initial certification in any state. Further,only those with valid food safety manager certificates or are within the states allowable grace period are eligible fornon-examination recertification). When the course has been successfullycompleted, your states recertification filing form can be printed from the Hospitality Careers Training Center's website under the "printable forms" tab. Send a copy of your certificate, recertification filing form, and a check for the recertification fee to the address listed on your states form. Thestate will mail you an updated certificate.

Based on studies conducted by major universities on the TAP Series' Food Safety Manager Certification Program demonstrating exceptional certification examination pass results, TAP Series now offers that any student who fails a nationally recognized food safety certification exam will be retrained at no further cost. To qualify for the Pass Assurance Standards (PAS) program the student need only meet the following requirements.

STUDENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Student must obtain 90% or better on each Lesson.
  • Student must have taken or have retaken the sample test within 48 hours of the exam date and have again scored a 90% or better.
  • Student must complete the program within 4 months from date the student starts the training.
  • Student must take the exam in the same language as the language selected for the training.

If a student completes the four requirements and does not pass one of the nationally recognized food safety certification exams, TAP Series will allow the student to re-take the training for free. Students are required to complete the re-take of the training within 30 days from the failed examination date.
